He is a Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer with a strong experience with Cisco Technologies, LAN/WAN, L2/L3 Routing & Switching, Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, Junos, UNIX, Sun Solaris, FTOS, Juniper, Foundry, Nortel PBX , Brocade, Avaya and has his CCNA.
He has developed product roadmaps (features/functionality) on multiple Cisco products and solutions including migration strategies for Cisco Network Management plus third party applications and integration World Wide supporting managed services, NMS/OSS and NOC operations.
While employed for Carnival, he is hands on testing of all network infrastructure network elements, servers, VM’s and applications associated to Carnival Cruise Lines, Holland America and Princess Cruise lines.

While working for Hotwire Communications, he has a vast experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco ASR9k layer 3 services including BGP, OSPF, IGMP, SIP, DNS and DHCP.
Under the employment of Atlantic Broadband, he designed and implemented a distributed network monitoring and alerting system using Solarwinds and WhatsUp Gold to monitor both networks and alert in case of degraded or failed systems.

In his current role he is responsible for the upgrading the Network Infrastructure to Gigabit Ethernet backbone for the City of Hollywood. He has installed and configured over $2.5M of Cisco NetworkGear.
In his role with Activis, Inc. he lead a teams of anywhere from 3-20 subordinates where he installed and configured Cisco 6500/4500/3700 and 3800 series and managed the Nexus 7k/5k and FEX. He also installed, configured and upgraded all Firewalls/VPN’s with Palo Alto 500-5000 series and Cisco ASA 5500-x
